Etroplus spp. are brackish.

Cichlasoma meeki is actually Thorichthys meeki now.

The first three would mix well...the Spilurums are less aggressive than the Cons, and Rainbows and FMs are peaceful for C/As.

The firemouth and the rainbow will work fine. My brother has both those fish in the same tank and they rarely bicker (his tank is crowded too).

I do not know what the other 2 fish are. I do not recognize there scientific names.

Archocentrus spilurum is called the Jade-eyed Cichlid or the Blue-eyed Cichlid.

Etroplus spp. are known as the Chromides. They are the only Asian Cichlids. E. maculatus is known as the Orange Chromide.

thanx guys :)

i did read though that E. maculatus has been breed so much in captivity that it doesnt need brackish water anymore. let me try and find the like and you can tell me what you think
