I have a spotted raheal and iam wondering if it will be good with six to eight kuhli loaches.

iam thinking yes because they are both nocturnal.

Is it in your 25 you have listed in your sig? Is the stocking on that still current?

As I recall betta's like the temp around 80 degrees, and Kuhlis don't like to stay above 78 for any length of time.

That's not my experience, PsyKick. My kuhlis were absolutely fine with temperature at 86 degrees Fahrenheit when I kept them together with my discus and several other tropical exotics.
