Compatibility of Dwarf Gouramis

i mean that since the gourami is only like 2inches and so are the female bettas could i put two female bettas in there with him or not? it is going to have a lot of plants and plenty of hiding spaces so is this ok?

No. Do not mix bettas with gouramis. That can be recipe for disaster.

And no, there is not room for a male with several females in your tank.

I suggest to get only one male gourami and no other gouramis or bettas. Then add some smaller, peaceful fish.

They are all the same species but with different colour variants.

Female bettas would not do well with the gourami. I've rarely found any that do well with other fish. I've had more luck with males...

I would do one male gourami, and a school of cherry barbs or harlequin rasboras.

would zebra loaches do ok with the d gourami

Zebra loaches would probably do fine with the gourami. I know skunk botia are quite aggressive, but I don't think Zebras are. My only concern would be size, as I don't know what size they get, so I don't know if they'd get too large for a 10g. MOst loaches do...

ok thanks umm then how many harlequin rasboras could go in there with the gourami

It depends on how fastidious you're willing to be about tank maintenance (water changes and the like). I'd not do any more than five though..., and you'd need to stay on top of things!
