Ok, first off this isn't a long term thing.
I've ordered a new hood off ebay. However, the person I ordered it from isn't responding. She has good feedback (seems to sell a lot of aquarium equipment). I'm assuming she's gone for the holidays or something.
However, I have a short window in which to order the plants I'm planning on getting (mail system at my school is all screwy and I don't want to risk plants dieing in route).
So I have to get them here before the end of next week. However, if the hood doesn't get sent out until some time next week (which is what I'm expecting) it probably won't arrive until the week after.
First off, would the plants be ok in a 1wpg environment for a week or so? They're all low-med light plants anyway. If not, then could I counteract some of the ill effects by leaving the lights on longer (say 14-16 hours total time on)?
thanks :grinyes:
