Complete Tank Redesign Project - Lessons, Learnings and Ramblings of Coach_z

I haven't seen very many sucessful attemps at keeping this stuff, I am sure the Co2 would help once it is back up.
I removed this stuff and put it right at the top of my tank with the help of plant weights and a high object in the tank. WIll hope this improves them a bit.

Rotala Macrandra

I am having a very difficult time with this plant, probably a lot to do with a shortened photoperiod and lack of water changes :footinmouth:

Anyway, I pulled this plant from the substrate (1/2 the stems were rotting anyway) and added some plant weights and placed the plant at the very top of my tank. The plants are now less than 3 inches away from the top of the water and should get some very intense lighting. Hopefully this helps stimulate some growth over the next few days.

From my experience with Rotala Macrandra this plant was sensitive to the dosing of Excel using their recommendation in my tank. I eventually figured that out in time before killing off the whole plant but I eventually lost it in one of my tank crashes.:wall:

If you want to trade some plants let me know I'm not to far from you if I remember correctly.

Getting a new regulator? Sell me your old one!
I am building my own new regulator because my old one is busted. you can buy my busted regulator if you would like to, but I wouldn't really wish that upon anyone. I am going to be building two regulators and selling one.

According to Fabco-Air my order will be shipping today and i'll be receiving some solenoids and needle valves! I really need to get my rig back up and running!

So you have EXTRAS to sell?
