So my levels:

ammonia: 0 ppm
nitrite: 0 ppm
nitrate: 10 ppm
ph: 7.8

added rocks and currently have one clown goby in there that i never see. by the way, what kind of food do they prefer?

what do you recommend for my next fish? what do you recommend for my cleanup crew? i'm started to grow algae..see below.

sorry can't answer your questions but just wanted to say nice tank. I am slowly building up something quite similar. keep us up to date on your progress
 
Hiya mate, i presume, its the 25gal tank refered to in the link...

Looking nice mate..The algae blooms are something that you have to live with and work through to be honest. It happens to all new tanks, just keep cleaning the glass and substrate when you can...

Clown Gobys like to be fed brine shrimp, mysid shrimp and maybe a frozen food mixture...My watchman goby loves my home made frozen mixture, it cant get enough of it..

Clean up crew for your tank would be something on the lines 5 red and 5 blue hermits ( provide spare shells for when the grow ) and probably about 20 snails ( mixture of nassarius and cerith ) and a cleaner shrimp...

Next fish..well, there are so many options...review this thread and scribble a few down then post them on here so we can check for any potential issues..

in addition ot all his wonderful info id recommend raising ur ph to the correct zone before adding anything fish wise. it should be between 80.-8.4
 
germanman i'm on that ph level! ~ by the way how long does it usually take for clown gobies to get acclimated and adjust to the tank? or do they ever? it just seems like i never see them. thanks..
