(computer help) left for duluth game

Hey everyone, my cousin wants me to try this game. It is like left for dead but all of the maps and stuff are from the city of duluth minnesota. I downloaded it and extracted it. But there is only one file that is a .vpk file. I downloaded GCFscape to try and open the game. It got me into all of the folders and files, but I cant seem to find one that actually opens up the game. I think this might just be a custom map pack for left for dead but idk. There is a folder called maps and it is full of places in duluth. Can anyone help me with getting this working?

I got stuck in the Duluth airport once, they gave us a hotel voucher and dinner voucher for outback steakhouse. I got the ribs and they were fantastic, full rack of course. Good times.
