I have my heater in the vertical position. There appears to be condensation at the base of it. how bad is this? should I replace the heater? and if so what is a good heater to buy. I have a 29 gallon aquarium.
you could try unscrewing the control part and sliding the glass part off. dry it hairdryer or whatever and the putting it back together and see if that works
