Condensation on tank outside?

Hi, I live in S. Fla, and I have a relatively new tank. I am testing to see if there are any leaks. I filled it up outside(93 degrees ferenheight), there are appears to be condensation on the bottom of the tank, a lot. Could that be do to the cold water and hot outside? There are bubbles on the bottom outside of the tank, any ideas??

Sure could be.
Just give it a few days (a good idea for leak testing anyways). Then the water will warm up and if it's indeed condensation it will disappear.

If it was condensate, i would think that the whole tank would condensate not just the bottom. Could be wrong though.

Probably just evaporating off the sides before you can see it. The air underneath is stagnant, so it has nowhere to go.

Just a guess. I'd still watch it for a while.

yup capt dan is correct.

the bottom of the tank has trapped air, no circulation and is less affected by the outside environment.

the tank will need to equalize with the air temp, humidity etc

give it a few days

Update
thanks all, about 5 days later still had condensation. Pretty Nuts. I checked
the tank numerous times for leaks, none! :clap: There was newspaper on the bottom that was stuck to the bottom of tank(from painting), maybe why the prolonged condensation.
