Your booze ads...the ice cubes in the glasses...there is usually something interesting going on there, like couples embracing or more. The positioning of ads in magazines...newspapers...these things are not just done by accident.

Sure they can appeal to our biases which are so ingrained we hardly notice, but the whole concept of subliminal advertising and flashing commands to quickly for us to notice was based on a falsified study. (You will believe me - you will not argue)

Chill...the books I've read on the topic are more recent than the one you quote. The next glossy magazine ad you see that features booze, for example poured into a class with ice. Look real close...and what kinds of things are you seeing in the ice? Couples embracing are common...and other things. A lot of it is based on the sex sells principle.
