The siphon tube is much easier method than pulling all of your gravel out and rinsing it... I honestly didnt know anyone did that

Didn't know anyone rinsed the gravel like me or used a siphon tube?
There are a few here that still use UGFs, but most of us have gone some other route. I'm currently using a Penguin HOB with a Bio-Wheel and will soon replace that with a large sump.
These are what most of us use to do water changes and clean the substrate. Basically you use the tubing to start a syphon of water out of your tank and use the created suction to pull out debris at the same time. They're cheap and very simple to use.
