Confused...

I don't believe it was aggression from the pleco. I think it was more like the fish died from previous bad health and then pleco ate it for a bite of protein. Only thing i can think of. I guess instead of 2 more clown fish ill have to get 3 now haha
 
Loaches are good at hiding, he may be ok.

A quarrantine of only 2 days is not worth doing, it. 2 weeks is a bare minimum but really 4 weeks or more is needed to make sure new fish are healthy, eating & able to adapt to you tank conditions.
 
David - a pleco is only going to suck on a dead fish. There's no way the pleco went after or killed the clown loach. As you said, it's quite possible the loach just died shortly after being put into the tank. It's also possible that that little loach is holed up somewhere where you can't see it. Seems like they find the smallest hole they can find and squeeze into it! They are definitely masters at hiding.
