Cons fighting

Hello my short bodied cons had babies and they are growing well about a month or so old I had photos on here, my problem is now the male is chasing and beating up the female. She is hiding up by the filter all the time and her fins look torn up. They are in a 38 gallon tank all by themselves, any advice? Thanks:help:

I would separate them. Move him out to another tank.

That's a case of him wanting to mate and she doesn't want to. Check water quality and territory. Make sure there are caves for them to hide in.

get a divider. The problem is the male is ready to breed again but the female is not.
