Continuous Gravel Cleaning

I just clean the gravel and keep adding water. I like 50% water changes ! my fish do to. 20% is that a week??

I would just use a RUGF, no more vacs for me!

Um, you should still vac the gravel with a RUGF...just not as often.

I am wondering if you took some 3 inch PVC, stuff it with filter material, cap it on both ends with a tube inserted in one end and the intake of the powerhead on the other end, with a tube back into the tank, would that work?

It should as long as you dont over stuff. You may want to put some sort of netting around the floos to keep it from being sucked into the impeller.
