re: pics of wood

driftwoodroak.jpg
camera is broken but if you tell me what you like for wood I can try to match the piece. here is some examples of my wood but some have been sold or traded

I will take this offer and offer
10 mixed colors ramshorns snails pea sized
10 mts snails mixed sizes
a nice bunch of hornwort
a new in the package plastic plant.
a portion of java moss
a potion of ancharis
a nice piece of true driftwood

Ok, I'll take this. I really need some mts, been planning to buy some.

all right, here's my offer:

* Glass marbles/ pebbles that would look nice in small betta tanks
  • 1.8 lb. bag of saphire blue marbles
  • 2.7 lb. bag clear glass pebbles (dime sized)
  • 2.8 lb. bag pale clear blue pebbles (dime sized)
  • 1.9 lb. bag emerald green pebbles (dime sized with a few quarter sized)
  • 0.3 lb. bag yellow acrylic "rocks", About the size of a quarter.
They're all a little scratched from use, but no broken bits and they've all been thoroughly cleaned.

* 2 large black pvc pipe T's- 4" diameter, one is 6"x8", the other is like a 14" long elbow joined into a 11" straight pipe (I know it's not called a T, can't think of the proper name though). Both are in good condition, just a few scratches.

* 5 - 3/4"x 7" long white pvc pipes, pretty messy looking - a few mud stains that wouldn't come off and lots of scratches. The ends need sanded as well.

* Also a small Aquaculture brand air pump - it's a pretty noisy thing, but it'd work as a backup. I think it's rated for 10g tanks.

* And finally, a wingless fruit fly starter culture, with a recipe for culture media. (will be sent insulated w/ ice pack)

I don't know if anyone will actually want all this stuff, so mix and match is fine. Shipping is actual cost. Let me know what you want and your zip code and I'll give you a shipping quote.
A word of warning though, priority mail for the entire package runs around $25- $30 due to the weight of the marbles.

I don't have any pics yet, won't have the camera back until Monday.

I found some pics online of the pipe styles for the black PVC:

Larger one

smaller one (couldn't find any pics of it in black, but it's the same shape)

*not my pics. just used as an example until I can get my own pics

If anyone's interested I could scrap the last offer, and put up a 4x6" pet portrait from your photograph with free first class mail shipping instead.
You can look at my avatar for an example (dorky costume is optional).

I always forget about parcel post

Same here. lol

Ok, parcel post is $16.76 for everything. I"m not sure how well the fly culture would hold up though.

The UPS store in my town is a bit on the dodgy side, so that's why I didn't include it. That comes to about $18 for standard ground shipping though.

'course, if anyone want's just part of the stuff through parcel post that should be fairly cheap.

Ok, slight change in the original deal

* 2 large black pvc pipe T's- 4" diameter.

* Also a small Aquaculture brand air pump - it's a pretty noisy thing, but it'd work as a backup. The rubber feet tend to leave streaks of rubber, so it needs something under it. I think it's rated for 10g tanks.

*A wingless fruit fly starter culture, with a recipe for culture media. (will be sent insulated w/ ice pack)

* About 4lbs small natural gravel

* A small lucky bamboo plant (it's been grown immersed)

* A newly rooted purple heart plant (also grown emmersed) - it's a close relative of the wandering jew plant, and is great in terrariums. Gets very deep purple leaves and pale violet flowers if grown in good lighting. It also grows very quickly and roots easily.

And here's some pics:

Shipping is $17 for parcel post, $21 Priority for the whole package. If you want less, PM me with the list and your zip code and I'll work with you to figure out the cheapest shipping method.

OK, I think I'm meant to have the fruit fly culture. I almost bought one at Petsmart this week, but talked myself out of it.

I don't need the pvc pipe or the glass pebbles. Just the following items.

* Also a small Aquaculture brand air pump - it's a pretty noisy thing, but it'd work as a backup. The rubber feet tend to leave streaks of rubber, so it needs something under it. I think it's rated for 10g tanks.

I'll offer the following:

4 dark brown striped apple snails (yes I have permits to ship).

Mixed floating plants, at least 1/2 cup. Mostly frogbit, water lettuce, and duckweed. Might be some giant pink duckweed and small pieces of hornwort mixed in.

Pop-up pond, like the one in this link:

Just the pond, not the water pump.

5-15 gallon aquatech filter

Shipping $5-$13 depending on items and shipping method.

I will offer several anubias nana petite, several (have to see how many are available--at least 4, maybe more) lace java fern plantlets, and a small amount of flame moss. These are in with red ramshorn snails, so eggs are a possibility. If you'd like a few snails I can throw them in as well.

Shipping $5 priority mail
