the transition went pretty well. it took me around 4 hours. I hit a snafu when I started adding water to the new tank with the old gravel, and there was a lot of waste. so i had to get that water out and start it over again. I did use Prime for the dechlorinating and a "Cycle" solution. After testing the water in the new tank the water tested much better than the older tanks. thanks again for all your help
