I'll repeat the suggestion to start out with half the light, just don't use the actinic bulb. If you have independent switches for each bulb then you can replace the actinic and switch it on for only 4hrs a day. With CO2, that should be enough light to grow most plants. Growth will be slower but things will be more manageable.
The eclipse 5 hex uses a 15w incandescent bulb, which is nowhere near enough to grow plants. I don't think you can fit a spiral CFL bulb in there either.
The RedSea CO2 system will work fine.
