will a convict and a gold saum be ok in a 25 gallon 3 foot tank. the convict is about 3 inches and the gold saum is about 2 inches. the convict is a male and i think the gold saum is a male aswell. i have just put the gold saum in with it and the convict chases it but i dont think he bites it. i really like the gold saum, it would be great if someone could answer my question.

Aequidens rivulatus should grow to 10-12 inches at maturity and thus, a 25 gallon tank is not nearly sufficient to maintain this species. you'll need to rehome it within a year.
