I had two male cons, and my friend had two females. I gave him a male for a female and his took about two days to lay eggs. Mine have been together for about 2 weeks and still nothing. There colors have really darkened since they have been together. I have a clay flower pot in there thats about 4inches in diameter. is this to big? My friend's cons laid there eggs in one with about a 2.5 inch diameter. my water is fine and i have the temp at 81. does anyone have any ideas on how to make them breed???

Lol don't worry about it. Like said, they'll mate in time. Mine are still raising their 1st brood, but they have again started displaying their colors and mating rituals. The 1st brood took a few months to start tho. so just be patient. afterwards, you might not want them to breed anymore.
