Convict & Buttikoferi mess up

How can someone mess up a Convict as Buttikoferi? I went to this LFS. They put the species as Buttikoferi when they were Black and Pearl Cons. I can just imagine someone bought the fish thinking they are tough and big...can survive living with Red Devil or something.

Shoot...LFS should be careful on naming the fish. That is so misleading.

If anyone one want to tell the differences between Convict and Buttikoferi. Really gotta see the pictures below by aquamojo. I sincerely hope no one will make the mistake of thinking they got a Convict when it is a Buttikoferi.

Not yet. I was in the rush that day...just to get some food for my fish. I'm going to go back and tell them.

I've a strong feeling they will not listen to me. Possibly will tell me that I don't know anything. And I'm afraid I will tell him, "my azz that I don't know anything. I've a con myself.... Do some research on the fish first before telling me I know nothing."

Well that could happen but trust me you wouldn't be the first person on this board that gets thrown out of a fish store or even get banned from it.
