Oh, but of course. I know to breed convicts or any other fish for that matter alone. Although my dad's mollies breed like crazy and none of the other fish are big enough to eat them.

I would be more worried about my Jack Dempsey Killing a couple of convict cichlids. He is extremely mean and tough.

I have seen convicts kill full grown oscars and plenty other large agressive cichlids... I would be more concerned for the Jack Dempsey than the convicts
