Hi guys

I bought 3 juvenile Convicts. 2 paired off and a couple of months later, I now have 45 almost fully grown fish and another batch of babies.

My question is - how do you guys keep your convicts. These guys seem to be ok together, but wondered if eventually they'd start tearing fins off each other.

Maybe it's time they went to the petshop.

What size tank are they in?

I would cut down on your numbers just to be safe.... and you don't want them to start breeding like crazy...

To help control population cull the fry after a week or two only keeping the strongest adn healthiest.

I would always separate the male and female untill I was ready for them to breed. Then I would use the fry as feeders. The only problem was they didnt always get eaten. Soon I just got rid of them all. To much of a hassle to deal with. There is still one male in the pet store I sold them to.
