Convict Companion

I currently have a single male black convict in my 33 gallon aquarium. I would like to add another fish, other than a convict. Given my aquarium size, and the agressiveness of my convict, are there any other fish that would work in my set up?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated

in a 33 gallon, the only other thing I'd put with a convict would be maybe A chinese algae eater (I'd only get one because they can get aggressive as they grow) and possibly 4-5 fast and aggressive tetras. I personally like Buenos aires with smaller cichilds.

why not think about gettin him/her a mate ??? females have an orange belly when they are mature males dont if you do this though you may want to give the new fish wether it be convict or not a hiding spot on the other side of the tank
