where ever i am
i have a tank 30 inches x 12 inches x 12 inches with 2 convicts sold to me a breeding pair a couple of days ago.

what fish or bottom feeder can i put with them that wont eat the eggs/babys. or is there nothing????????

thanks btw the cons are 10cm ea

It would be a brave tank mate that tried to eat convict babies! The parents would batter them merciless! I have a good size Pleco in with my cons, he is twice the size of them, but he don't bother them and they tolerate him.

eh, personally i think your tank is already fully stocked with the 2 cons. They can be really territorial especially in such a small tank.

so what about bristlenose?? or cories??? coz a 3cm pleco here is 30 bucks too much for that size

If you are interested in breeding convicts, I must agree with legendaryfrog. You have a nicely stocked 20 with the 2 convicts and will soon enough have too many fry to grow them out in a tank that small. Unless you have other housing for the fry, you need to stop building up before you get in the same kind of overstock trouble that I find myself in way too often. I know how much you can want more but sometimes less is better.
