Coral Beauty Hole in Head?

it sounds like you feed him good, so i'm sure with time it will show for it. if you want to go for extra just in case, i would add vitamin C to the water and make sure that you soak the food in vitamins with vitamins A, C, B12. these vitamin believed to be the most important for treatment and prevention of HLLE

Okay, I will try soaking their food in vitamins, I've been meaning to do it, just haven't bought the stuff yet. She seems fine, I would just like her head to be healed up, I wouldn't like swimming around with a hold in my head!

You're fedding well and you're params are fine so it's probably just the stress of the move and what petco did to it. I'd carry on as you are and hopefully with time it will heal.

Matt.

I thought my flame was starting to develop HLLE so I got some of the Formula pygmy angel food and started feeding him that. The small signs of deterioration that were forming have since gone away and he's definitely gained weight and is happier. He started eating nori also...

Got to be honest here i would not try to many things to put on or in the food you use, good quality marine food is tested and proven before we buy it. Adding things to your tank should always be a carefully considered approach, Garlic is a good thing messing with vitamins needs more care.jmho.
The fish could have Lymphocystis (Cauliflower Disease) Symptoms rarely cause distress and the good news is fish although often scared recover well.
Hope this helps.

And just a reminder to all. Make sure the fish you are buying are healthy because if you buy a fish that is sick or carries a disease, even though you might be "saving" it, you could harm your own system. Not to mention you might waste your money on a fish that will die soon.
