This is my first post to this site--I have been reading the information on other posts and it is impressive.
I am at the point where I would like to add Coral to my tank. I have had no problems finding info on lighting requirements, aggressiveness, easy to take care of but am having difficult finding info on individual feeding requirements(other then the algae they possses)
Can any one steer me to info on feeding or corals?
thanks
Scott

Hello and welcome to ac scott!
It really depends on what sorts of corals you'd like to get. You might also consdier beefing up your clean up crew. What are your readings ph,kh etc what sort of lights etc?
Anyway welcome again and sorry to answer a question with a question.

I was going to ask this too. I feed my fish frozen brine daily. Will my trumpet coral benefit from this or should I actually give them something by hand and chopped up?

Yes, most corals will benefit greatly from phyto and zoo plancton. There are many pre-mixed foods on the market I use kent marine a time or two a week. A lot of them will start growing like gang busters after you start a regular feeding regamin. Just make sure you don't over feed.
