Hey everybody, im getting ready to start introducing coral and fish to my new tank. Im wondering if I should set up my reef first and then put the fish in. As far as the fish go, I know u should introduce in order of agreesiveness, with the most agressive last, but is there an order for corals and fish. Any advice or experience on whether to get the reef goin first, or just start throwin in corals and fish, is greatly appreciated.

We did corals first, but most of the people I know did fish first. I'm not entirely sure it makes much of a difference. But, some of our corals grew fast enough that I was able to frag them and take them in for credit towards the fish we wanted.

I did coral first, and then got my clown today. You can do it either way, but it was nice to beable to rearange for the coral before worying about the little bugger of a clown(love the guy).

I did start out with a damsel living with my macro in the refugium.

i personally dont think it matters which go into the tank first as long as the parameters have all stayed at a constant and acceptable level after the cycle has completed for a while...

Just an opinion of course..
