Its a 2 liter soda bottle with yeast, sugar, and water and Its hooked up to a power head.

Looks pretty good, what kind of sand is that?

Each grain of sand Is as big as a capital O. Maybe a little bigger.

I haven't been able to find sand like that. Where did you buy it? Was it "brand name" sand for aquariums or something you found at a sand and gravel supply?

It looks more like river sand because the particles are nice and rounded where silica sand for construction can have sharp edges. I keep cories too and I'm sure they'd be happier with rounder sand like you have.
