I wan't sure wich forum to put this on...

i got 2 coral rocks in my Freshwater 29g tank, the ph is very high at 8.0 althought it is not extremly high it is high enough.

i got a piece of driftwood which is still not full of water, (i have a piece of coral rock holding it down)

will the drift wood balance my pH????

The wood will reduce the pH a bit, but it's unlikely to be hugely significant, especially depending on the type of wood you have. If you're wanting a lower pH, removing the coral will be best rather than trying to counteract it's effects.
