coral safe butterfly

hi. This is a dumb question but does anyone know what type of corals a racoon butterfly will not harm?:dance2:

There is no such thing as a dumb question here on AC mate...

personaly, i would not deem this type of butterfly safe with any corals or inverts...

i do not at this time remember exact names but there are a large number of butterflys that wont harm noxious soft corals.... but many of them do like to go for the SPS and LPS corals.

I do not think it will eat mushrooms. :headshake2:

I also wouldn't risk it, but if you must, I would recommend copperband butterfly. I personally had success with it.. but i also heard otherwise, too.

Hmmm... Butterflies do love to pick at small featherdusters. I wonder if gorgonian would be at risk when the polyps are extended... not sure. just a thought.

Again, I'd not risk it. Especially with a gorgonian that I had to baby and hand feed.
