would anyone care to reccomend a solution for the following engineering conundrum...?
So, like I bought one of those awesome 2 CF setups from coralife. You know, the goldish metal looking ones, with the feet that slide in the slots on the front and back edges... and I figured I save a littel cash by buying a 30 inch seutp for my 36 inch tank (low light plants on the edges, anyway!). The LFS guy said the feet would adjust out to allow the fixture to fit, but they're about 1 inche too short on each side.
Coralife makes a different kind of mount, where the light is clamped to a hinge on the back of the tank.. but they reccomend against not having a glass cover on the tank with this setup. It does look a little flimsy.
I've looked for different, longer legs.. but not luck. Anyone else know a solution?
