I was adding a purple up to my tank for awhile and then stopped and over the past month my coraline has takin off on my back glass and powerheads n filters but its a dark crimson color and that's the only color is this normal? I haven't seen any purple or pink. There has been some bright green though...anyways is this normal I stopped adding supplements awhile ago.

Yes, its very normal indeed...Coraline colour is dependant on the lighting and nutirients in the column...Good deal...Who need's crap in a bottle eh?....LOL

I was getting no coralline growth for 6 months until I checked the TDS of my RO/DI and found out it was at 17ppm so I changed all my filters and membrane and also added a Phosphate reactor. Now the phosphates are undetectable and coralline has been popping up everywhere. Ca, Alk and Mag had always been good.
