Most of what I read suggests that mushrooms and polyps are the best to start with - then perhaps a colt...

Please add your experiences: what are some easy-to-keep and beautiful corals to consider?

Thanks!

I just got into the salt thing. Ive had my Green star polyps for 3 weeks now and they are growing like crazy. There is already a piece broken off and growinf about 3 inches away on a chunk of live rock. Thats about all I know for now :)

green star polyps are excellent they were my first coral in my 29(thats now a 55) i little over 2 years ago. they are excellent and can take a bit of neglect...but of course ud never let that happen..neway mushrooms are great to but they can grow fast and kinda take over so mind where u place them because they will expand quite a bit and hurt ne weak near buy corals. most leathers are forgiving as well. as for fist hard corals brains and goniopora(flowerpot coral) are good beginner hard corals once u establish the system some more. Also make sure all the water parameters are excellent before adding any corals and that the corals u add will get along with the ones u want to have in the finished product.

mushrooms grow great and multiply over time. good color selection available
