My cories and Amano shrimp are fine together. But the cories are dwarf varieties and the shrimp are full-grown. Cories are generally non-aggressive, but they are omnivores and will eat whatever will fit into their mouths (which are not big at all). Some people see fish A nibbling on dead fish B, and immediately assume that fish B was killed by fish A. This is not always the case, and *most* fish/invertebrates are going to scavenge on any carcass that's lying around, just decomposing. Heck, it's a free meal to them. But I just can't see a cory being "predatory" like that. I could be wrong, though.
If you don't see any obvious problems, I wouldn't worry.
