Corkscrew vals not doing very well

Thing is DIY co2 is usually not a real reliable way to add CO2 since the amount can not be controlled. Fastfly67 may have low levels where beeZer350 has higher levels thus effecting the outcome that each of you see. Anytime I have done CO2 even on a 2 bottle system I could not get my CO2 levels up above 20PPM for very long in a 10 gallon tank.

One of them finally put out a runner! They just took their good old time getting settled.

How tall are corkscrews supposed to get? Mine are about 8". They are considered a backdrop plant so I expected more height.

My tallest Val is 13" (front gravel to top). I also have CO2 in my tank and it grows like a weed. I think I am keeping my LFS supplied.--
