Cory Cats safe with shrimp?

I recently started up a 20G planted but it's already swarmed with baby cherry shrimps and adults. I did want something to keep the tank a little more active and I heard Cory Cats were actually safe with baby shrimps is this true?

Fish are opportunistic and will often eat any meal that fits in their mouths. That being said, my peppered corys don't even look twice at my smallest RCS. That doesn't mean all corys will be like this though.

Thanks for the fast response, I never thought corys would be something that would attack anything. But with my luck I'll get the group of corys that only feed on shrimp. Do you know of any other type of fish that won't eat shrimp?

Completely agree, I'd say you would be perfectly fine with cories, even if they did get a few babies, it wouldn't hurt the overall population.

I've had sterbai, julii, peppered, albino's all in with shrimps and shrimplets never observed any of them eating a shrimp
 
i've had emerald, albino, bronze, peppered, and barbatus cories in with shrimp with no problem at all.
 
Thanks for all the responses everyone! Unfortunately my 20G was a leaky tank so I'm back to my 10G.
 
something I would try is pygmy cories they are relatively peaceful and do not get over a inch
