Yes, I would. A 50% water change will bring that 1.0 down to 0.5 ppm ammonia. Keep an eye on those readings.

When I went through a mini-cycle I checked my tank morning and night until I was sure it was over.
I have been using Nutrafin AQUA plus tap water conditioner and API stress coat+. I have API stress zyne too but haven't used it didn't know if that would be to much.
All you need to use is one tap water conditioner. You need to decide which one....the Aqua plus or the Stress Coat plus. They both do the same job on your water and fish. Use it with every water change. Dose the tap water conditioner for the whole 10 gallons every time you change some of the water out. No need to use the Stress Zyme. You've got guppies eliminating waste in your tank which is what feeds the good bacteria in your filter.
If your cycle is not finished yet, next you'll see the ammonia come down to 0 and then the nitrite begins to rise. Nitrite poisoning is actually more harmful to the fish than the ammonia, so you'll still have to stay on top of testing and water changes. When you have enough bacteria in the filter to handle breaking down the guppy waste, you'll see the ammonia at zero, and the nitrite will come down to 0 and your will have nitrate. You want to see some nitrate.
