It didn't look like this last night :(

I've never had a cory breed, so I'm not sure what to look for

Thank you!

Cories have expandable stomachs and some cories get quite chesty. Sterbia which this guy resembles or is are 1 that are chunky. Melanatnia long and lean. He could have just stuffed himself.

That's a beautiful cory! It doesn't look sick. Is it overall larger than the other Trilli's? Females are noticeably larger. Once they are mature, they don't rest flat on surfaces, they are much rounder than the males. To me she doesn't look full of eggs yet though. Right before the females spawn, they almost look like they have a bad case of bloat. This one looks fuller towards the front but not on the sides and toward the back too much.

My loxozonus girls look plumper between the ventrals & tail than yours, well fatter all over. She doesn't look unhealthy to me.

But how's her behavior? Is she eating & swimming ok? Did you feed bloodworms last night? Mine have no self control with them. That, a water change & eggs!

looks like it just had a big meal to me!!!!!

how do your like your julliis?????
