cory id, mystery to me

hi nice site
recently bought four of these cory from my LFS
were to sold to me as cory julii but dont think they are
does anyone have any ideas please about what they could be ?
already looked through a tonne of cory pics, and still cant decide

My first guess would be loxozonus. Google it and compare the pics with what you have

I would peruse through the catelog at www.planetcatfish.com. You should be able to do an advanced search with color description. They are very cute! Good luck.

i love getting the "mystery cory" and finding out what kind it is. the nice thing is they all pretty much like the similar conditions and food, making it easier to pick them up (if you can take care of one species, you can take care of them all more or less). check out petco/petsmarts "spotted cory" tank sometime. you can find some neat cories in there. i managed to pull out a super schwartzi from one

I have loxos too, they're quite shy. I just moved them to a cooler tank with more current & they seem to enjoy it.

Do you live anywhere near me, Massachusetts? I'd love to get some more.
