I'm just now getting down to attempting to figure out what type of cories I've had for a while now. I was looking on planetcatfish.com, but that helped confuse me ;) I got them as spotted cories at petsmart, but would like to figure out their real identities

I'm sorry I can't help with the i.d. but I've got to hit that spotted cory tank at Petsmart. Your fish are lovely.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help. If not you could try posting at planetcatfish. I know they'll i.d. them there for sure. I think they have a thread just for that purpose there.

Thanks! The petsmart near me is like a grab bag when it comes to their spotted cories, they all look a little different! They're currently living in my 20g with sand (they love it!) and 3 new peppered cory friends.

The first one looks like C. schwartzi to me. I'd be more convinced if the black mask was darker, but it could be the flash or the picture. :D

For the second one, I'm gonna guess C. leucomelas. :) Thats an educated guess though.

I thought C. melanistus for the 2nd, but from the pics on Planet Catfish, the spots look smaller.
