Cory Question

you can definitly mix, i have an albino, a peppered, and 2 bronze and they all stay together!

Is it normal for cories to swim up and down the back of the tank? Or are they supposed to stay on the bottom most of the times?

While they do spend the bulk of their time hanging out on the bottom, mine also like to explore the upper areas of the tank. One of the smaller ones figured out how to get food from the surface this way. Every so often I swear he is checking to see if there are more freeze dried worms floating in the top corners of the aquarium.

I used to have one skunk, albino, and leopard (which actually might be trilineatus) in my 10 gallon. But the albino was never grouping, the leopard tried to group with the skunk, but the skunk paid it no attention. So it didn't work out too well. I returned the albino and got two more leopards, and now I see a lot more interaction between the 3 leopard cories.
