wouldnt it be un safe to use rocks form rock corys because of pestisids and of other things since you cant remove pesticids

If you mean quarries, then I don't see a reason why they would spray pesticides on the rocks. You could ask the person running the quarry to see if they do. I got my rocks from a local clean river, you can check one out if you live close to one.

if you got it in a corn field i would say yes, but a rock quarry i wouldnt use it if i seen hundreds of dead fish floating in the quarry, aside from this creek rock is cool just make sure you clean it well via soaking in bucket if smaller peices are used you can try boiling them..

I had the same concern with river rocks. At the time i did not have the equipment to boil a 40 lb rock so what i did was soaked the rock in a 10% bleach solution and i have not had any problems with it. I would be sure that after you soak it in bleach, soak it again in freach water to be sure no clorine gets into your tank. If you have a power washer that would do most of the dirt removal too.

cool, like at the rock yard those are safe to, like the landscaping places
