I've got a sick cory here in my 10 gallon. He is no longer active and kind of has like spasms every once in a while. He hangs out on plant leaves and he sometimes like hangs dead when he does move. He basically like free floats and sways around. I'm not sure what this could be i've never seen this in a cory before. I've had him about 2 weeks now.

what are your water parameters? what other fish are in the tank? what is your maintenance schedule for the tank? How long has the tank been established?
tank has been set up about 2 months, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate between 5-10, pH around 7.2
5 Cardinal Tetras, 1 Dwarf Gourami, 1 Glass Cat, the Dwarf Gourami does seem to pic on it but I really dont think its the cause. Its just plain disoriented.
hmm... maybe it isn't happy? they usually like to be in groups of at least 3, but i prefer to have 6 of them in a bunch...
its been fine till just the other day im really confused now. Maybe some disease? i'm afraid to add a second.
Maybe just needs a mate...or 6.. Ph looks fine, water change maybe and some frozen bllod worm... What temp is the water..
What kind of cory and what's the water temp? I agree that you need more than one but most cories get to approx. 2" so keep that in mind in a 10 gallon. You'd need the smaller ones, mine are very active and appreciate the space.
I've bought juvenile cories (pandas), which were just too small and stressed when they arrived at the fish store and they died in my tanks. Some made it for a few months. Look for someone who breeds them locally and research the right type for a 10 gallon.

he is one of the small albino ones I got he is actually very small. The Temp is currently 82 gonna try lowering to 80 then to 78. I am going to try another one. I did have a pair of glass cats but only one made it. I'm waiting to I can give the gourami away to my neighbor since the gourami has been bothering my cory and my glass cat alot lately hes really pissing me off.
