cory suggestion

Thanks for all of the advice. I do know they will need some other food, but I appreciate you pointing that out. (I didn't know it I first set up the 55g.) I put cucumber and algae wafers in my 55g on a pretty regular basis. The BN pleco, rainbows, fSAE and yoyos go nuts over it. I have never actually seen the otos eat the cucumber. (Maybe they do at night?) If they won't switch foods, do they just starve?

It sounds like the panda (or maybe skunk) cories are a great choice for a cory that stays smaller. I've never seen dwarf (Habrosus & Hastatus) or pygmy cories, but I am interested. Do you ever see them at the LFS?

I have been looking for the dwarf, pygmy or black diamond corys and have had no luck... they are the smallest and only grow to about 1.5"... 2 of my local shops have been watching their stock and order lists for me.

I myself haven't even seen any of the dwarf-type cories in person before, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to special order some so I can pick them up in a couple of weeks.

I've seen the pygmy cories. When I first saw them I was like "awww baby cories" and then I looked on the tank and it said pygmy cories. Shows how much I know!

I keep bronze cories (and one very hardy panda cory, who swims with the crew) and I love them! As far as I know, they are the variant of which the albinos are albino... so they have the same playful characteristics and are otherwise a hoot to watch.
