I have 2 corydoras and a betta in a 5 gallon tank. I have noticed that just today, one of the corydora's have been fin nipping the betta. I know that this isn't a normal behavior for the corydoras since they are peaceful fish. His tail isn't damaged or anything, but I am afraid that this could become a potential problem. Is this a problem that I should watch or is it nothing? Thanks for the help.

If a corydoras is capable of nipping a betta, than there is something wrong with the betta. Corydoras have downward facing mouths so it would be very easy for the betta to get away and hard for the cory to nip. I still doubt the cory actually did any fin nipping, so just watch for any damage of the betta's fins.
Odd behavior for a cory indeed. Especially to a Betta.
It may be possible that the cory is getting the slime coat and not the fins (since you say there's no damage). Underfeeding could be a cause. Not sure on that since mine have always been peaceful.

The betta was getting his daily exercise of flaring at himself in front of a mirror.He is at the top of the tank. I think the betta was too busy staring at himself to move for the corydora. Thanks for all of the help. 
My pepper cories will sometimes nudge my platies in passing with their barbels - they aren't nipping though. I think it's just another playful behavior they have. :huh:
