Anybody know where I can get C. hastatus (tail spot dwarf cory)? I haven't been able to find a source in the 2-3 years that I've been looking. Now I'm wondering if they even exist! If anybody knows where I can find these guys (within the U.S.), I'd be eternally grateful for the info. Thanks!

I've seen these guys once or twice at Capitol Aquarium in Sacramento, but not lately. I'm gonna be looking for some of these guys for my master's thesis, so I'll let you know what I find out.
Coolness... Thanks! In the meantime, I'll work on Albany Aquarium. Last year, they managed to *almost* get them in. The cories got shipped to the wrong store and the "other" shop loved them so much, they refused to exchange them back. Maybe I just need to get on their case again.
seems like most places don't mind special ordering for you. I would follow up on that lead. Where is the Albany aquarium? I go fishing out of Emeryville fairly often, is it a place I should stop by?
It's only the most awesome aquarium shop on the East Bay 
(IMNSHO). Well, for freshwater, that is. They have one saltwater tank, but it's display only. They get in huge shipments of plants from the Far East every other Sunday, and they are one of the few places that carries rarities like cherry red shrimp and true SAE's. They even sell that new "petite" variety of Anubias nana. Oh yeah - and they have Botia sidthimunki, which very few stores carry. Just to name a few... They quarantine all fish before putting them out to sell.
Albany Aquarium usually has lots of C. pygmaeus and occasionally some C. habrosus in stock, but I've never seen the C. hastatus, though one of the employees claimed that they've had them in from time to time. I think he was confusing them with something else. I'll try putting in another special order with them, and maybe Wet Pets in El Sobrante.
Albany Aquarium is on San Pablo Ave. near Solano Ave. Albany is situated between El Cerrito and Berkeley and the shop is maybe a 10-minute walk from the El Cerrito Plaza (if that means anything to you). If you make the trip to Emeryville, you should *definitely* check out Albany Aquarium. It almost is literally a "hole in the wall," but you'll be impressed once inside. I think they've been around now for about 30 years, which says a lot.

Well, if you're ever out this way, you should go. Actually, if you make the trip out all the way from Florida, there are also a few places in San Francisco that might interest you. I've never been to them, but I've heard good things. But for rare, exotic plants, Albany Aquarium can't be beat.
