I agree, Tiger barbs need to be kept in schools of atleast six (6) fish, when kept this way they are so enthralled with their own affairs -n- squables that they seldom bother tankmates. Seldom, not not never, they will nip a fin here -n- there, but can be kept with a wide array of tankmates.manna said:I have a small school of cory cats in my Tiger Tank, with a school of 12 or so Tiger Barbs. They all seem to get along fine. I have found that larger groups of Tiger Barbs helps to hold down the Tigers from picking on other fish. They tend to be too busy keeping up their pecking order in the group to bother the Cories in this configuration.
