Corys... happier in a school?

Just to add to this thread
I have 2 corys one is albino and the other is grey in colour not sure what type they are
They will be fine like they are but a school is definite what is prefered and Im gonna prob get some more

They are one of the nicest and peaceful fish I have ever had so far
They Dont Bother anyone but the rest bother there bottom food LOL at times hehe

the part about barbels (whiskers) is correct; in subpar conditions apparently they can get infected and shrink.

guilty of this myself; I embarked on a stringent "clean water" program, moving them to a tank with softer substrate too. Slowly but surely their barbs grew back and they're about 80-90% of normal (as compared to the barbels on the new "friend cories" I bought). Very happy eight-some in my 37g (36x12x20?) with sand.

ooh, and I have both green and albino colors of the same species (aeneus). they're all happy together.
