Cottong Thread or Fishing Line to Attach Mosses to Driftwood?

Fishing line, I have it available, and honestly, unless you are planting on a peice of driftwood all the way around, you just turn the driftwood around and cut the line. Besides, it grows over the fishing line quite quickly.

If I'm tying moss I use cotton thread, If Im tying riccia, I use fishing line because its more permanent.If Im tying anubias or java fern I use fishing line and cut it off when it has attached.
