he could more than likely fit them in his mouth, he is like 7-8 inches long. would they be able to outrun him or not? i have put small goldfish in for him and he almost couldnt catch them... i wouldnt feed him feeders, but sometime poeple win goldfish from carnivals or what ever and ask me to take care of them for them... and i just tell them next time i see them that they died. has anyone kept tiger barbs with oscars before??

I wouldnt chance it. They would just be expensive feeders. Goldfish are a type a barb and if they cant out run a oscar I doubt tiger barbs would be able to. You would have to get a seperate tank for them in my own opinion
Oscars and tiger barbs are not a good combo.
It might take him a while but eventually your oscar will render you barbless.
your best bet is to separate them NOW if possible.

they are seperated, i have them in a 55g and i want a lot so i wanted to put them in my 125g and buy more...
tiger barbs are faster than the oscar but eventually the oscar will probably eat them all. i wouldnt chance it, unless you want to experiment but it could b an expensive experiment.
